    Legal Department to appear and discuss the possibility of creating an ordinance that would prohibit the commercial usage of seawalls or docks in residential areas, except in locations specifically designated for commercial use; further, any possible ordinance would also regulate the type of usage, hours of operation, sound requirements, and any need for a permit.

    Continued Public hearing from January 29, 2026 on a privately initiated map amendment for property located at 1301 East Columbus Drive, from Residential-20 (R-20 to Residential-35 (R-35). – An ordinance amending the Tampa Comprehensive Plan, future land use element, future land use map, for the property located at 1301 East Columbus Avenue, from Residential-20 (R-20) to Residential-35 (R-35).

Email from Planning Commission staff, requesting that said public hearing be continued to April 23, 2026.

    CH 27 Public hearing by the City Council of the City of Tampa for consideration of suspension of alcoholic beverage permit for Urban Air, for failure of said establishment to comply with the requirements of Section 27-319 of the City of Tampa Code of Ordinances.

    Background

    The City has previously granted an “R” or “Special Restaurant” alcoholic beverage approval to the establishments listed on Exhibit “A”, attached hereto and pursuant to Section 27-319 (a)(2), of the City of Tampa Code of Ordinances (“City Code”), the property owner or holder of such AB license is required to submit certain specified information to the City on or before the thirty-first (31st) day of January of each year.

    The establishments listed on Exhibit “A” have failed to comply with said requirements and non-compliance with any part of Section 27-319 is a violation of the section and subject to the provisions of the City Code Section 27-318, including revocation or suspension for cause.

    Pursuant to City Code Section 27-318(d), the City Council shall set a public hearing to consider the revocation or suspension of any approval to sell alcoholic beverages for cause, and the City Clerk shall notify the owner of the property and the holder of the alcoholic beverage license of the set location, date, and time of the public hearing, by certified mail, not less than thirty (30) days from the date of the notice.

    Continued Public Hearing from January 29, 2026, September 25, 2025 on application of Ehlers Enterprises LLP requesting a Special Use 2 for a Bar/Lounge/Nightclub Beer, Wine & Liquor (Consumption on Premises Only) generally located at 1625 East 7th Avenue. – An ordinance approving a Special Use Permit (SU-2) for alcoholic beverage sales – bar/lounge (Consumption On Premises Only) and making lawful the sale of beverages regardless of alcoholic content – beer, wine and liquor – on that certain lot, plot or tract of land located at 1625 East 7th Avenue, Tampa, Florida, as more particularly described in Section 3; providing that all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict are repealed; repealing Ordinance No. 2012-89.
