East Tampa CRA – East Tampa Community Opportunity Center (Gator Building Site) Request for Authorization to Issue Development Feasibility Assessment RFQ.
CRA Staff to provide a monthly update on Tampa Union Station. (Said agenda item continued from January 15, 2026 due to meeting cancellation).
CRA Staff to present on the feasibility within our different CRAs, and to have one position in each of the CRA Boards that is designated to an organization that promotes Civil Rights.
CRA Staff and the Parks and Recreation Department to work with Karen Clay, Disability Community Advocate, to identify a park and to fund disability friendly equipment and provide report.

CRA staff respectfully request approval of an amendment to the existing contract with the following program changes: • Central Park $21,250 • Channel District $3,750 • Downtown $182,935 • Tampa Heights Riverfront $23,858.75 Total = $231,793.75.

This amendment provides an additional $231,793.75 for 130 more signs than originally proposed, for a more complete wayfinding network and including updates to the previously existing ones, which are over 10 years old, within the Central Park, Channel District, Downtown Non-Core and Tampa Heights CRA funds.

Background
api(+)’s original multi-district wayfinding scope of work (Resolution No. 2025-651 / Contract25-D-00008) included the development and placement of 150 signs. Following field verification of each proposed location and a comprehensive inventory of existing CRA-located Riverwalk signage, the total program was expanded to 280 signs – comprising 55 right-of-way signs and 75 Riverwalk signs – reflecting a more coordinated and complete wayfinding network.
